Lovely getaway near Central Arkansas (about 2 hours away from Little Rock). The campsites are clean and secluded. There is a cool trail behind the primitive sites that takes you to a waterfall, and you can even hike to the top of the waterfall. It is a pretty steep trail, so be prepared to climb and sweat a little.
Great place to camp, fish, swim, put-in or take-out a canoe kayak raft SUP etc. Has a nice heated change house with real toilets and hot showers for the swim area, plus another for the (RV) campground area. RV spots have water and electric, but no sewer at each site. There is a dump station in the park though.
Beautiful and secluded campsite. Off the grid but well maintained. Can't beat the location next to the river.
I lived there in Bullfrog and back in that day weird had her all to our selves ♡ Long pool ♡ That's Piney Creek and oh how fresh water it is º
Have always been happy with this recreation spot. Holidays can be crowded here but during the week or non holiday weekends it is not too bad.
