Our cupcakes were cute and very tasty. Ordering was difficult as there was nothing to look at for prices or examples for decorating. Clean and very charming store inside.
Truth hurts " When you trust someone to do a wedding cake and a groom's cake, it tastes like a Box Cake Mix" My step sister had got married yesterday " all she wanted was a almond cake " but the lady at the dover market chartering told her she doesn't feel comfortable baking a almond cake . WHY my sister ask ...the lady responded by saying she never bake a almond cake '' What ??? All you have to do is put little almond flavoring in the cake batter .. Then put toated almonds on the side or top of the cake" But she instead made a White Box Cake, it had one layer of super Sweet Icing ...so sweet two bites it FELT like your in a diabetic comma!! No one could handle to finish their thin slice of CAKE ! But thats not the Worst Part " My sis new husband lance wanted a Blue Tokyo hounda engine decorated CAKE.. With strawberry cake INSIDE ... but it was Red European hounda engine Cake " with strawberry mix box cake! He is heart broken ' and still Is!! This is his wedding cake"my sis set with them and they told the dover market exactly what they wanted and gave them even photos of how they wanted their wedding and grooms cake" my sis husband told me , the lady wrote down blue icing when she took the order of the cakes!! She still made it Red ! My sis and her husband all ready payed for their cake in Advance " and they didnt see the cakes before they pick up the cakes " it was already tooo late " few hours of the wedding " Thats a shame " I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU STAY AWAY FOR DOVER MARKET AND CATERING COMPANY ' by the way i must confess I personally from dover and I'm a Pastry chef" so it Really hurts ! Oh and my sis order the donuts for the kids to eat at wedding ' they was the driest donuts .. They tastes like they been in the Freezer FOR A WHILE " even the kids said they dont like them and throw them away' PLEASE Avoid this place AT all cost "Trust Me " you will be Thankful you did!
